Macarons

DSC_0370-1.jpg picture by Addikins

Instead of sewing, today I played buck euchre with friends and made pink raspberry macarons. I froze most of them for my graduation party, but saved a plateful for dessert. I am going to practice making these throughout the summer because they'll be some of the desserts we're making for my brother's wedding in August. (I'm sure I'll be showing you all the mini desserts we'll be working on!)

Tomorrow will involve finishing a very exciting dress, listening to raindrops on a metal roof, and photoshoots with a vintage mustang.

  3. Thanks, ladies! It was surprisingly easy to do in the end (although it was touch-and-go for a while there), and it makes a LOT though you wouldn't know it by looking at the amount of ingredients! The recipe I used is from a Martha Stewart magazine, but I also used the step-by-step walk-through here: http://giverslog.com/?p=1089 which was pretty helpful.

They're addicting and I want to make another batch already, haha. I'm thinking I'll do some buttercream filled ones as well for variety!
