Was in the Spring...

This is actually one of my most favorite things to wear ever. I've worn this outfit a couple times in the last few weeks and I only got around to taking photos this afternoon. It was so, so beautiful out today: sunny and warm with melting snow all over the sidewalks! (How strange it is for me to live in a place with sidewalks!) I'm hoping spring is right around the corner, but knowing Minnesota, we've got at least another month, probably more.

I got a podcast on how to improve your blog, & sat down this afternoon to make a huge list of ideas. Stay tuned, there will be all kinds of fabulous changes going on here. I'm also sketching out oodles of ideas for my summer collection, and getting super amped about it all!

  1. Me! Me! I am! :) A heatwave of 30 degrees has taken over Alaska today! And I must confess, I am thinking longingly of my sewingmachine back home, and all the things I want to make with it this summer! Ahhhh, summer. Flowers, rain, sundresses, amazing tans, swimming, sunshine ALL DAY LONG... ;) I miss you.
The dress makes me happy. I'm really in love with the bodice! You must be the most stylish chick on the campus! :D Love ya!

  2. Dana - 30 degrees?! I am jealous! It hasn't been too cold here, but certainly not that warm, except perhaps in the sunshine. Yesss, planning & anticipating sewing projects in advance is the best, isn't it? I am with you there!

Thank you! Haha, I don't know about that... although I'm definitely the only person crazy enough to wear a skirt on blizzardy days! Does that count? Love you too!

  3. This dress is amazing! The tight bodice and the flowy skirt is my favorite cut! I want this in 8 million different colors/patterns. I love it layered over a tee, very casual & a little punk. Perfect when there's snow on the ground.

    Thanks for the comment, love!

  4. Love the dress! I've been wishing, hoping, and praying (ok maybe not praying) for Spring so I can wear cute clothes again. I feel like I don't have any cute cold-weather clothes...until today, I got my green pea-coat in the mail today!
