Tattered Skirt Tutorial

Tatter Skirt // Large // Upcycled

Finally.
That's right, I have finally finished editing the tattered skirt tutorial. It's been 5 months, I know. I hope it's worth the wait!

The skirt is also for sale HERE.

Questions? Comments? Tips? Thoughts? You know I'd love to hear.

  1. so cool! I am so going to make one! One question though, I don't have a free sewing foot and it isn't very likely I will get one any time soon, so would it be ok to use a regualar foot?

  2. You can definitely use a regular foot. It just involves using the backstitch button a lot more, but it works just fine. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Also, is it hard to film + edit videos? I've wanted to start a V-log thing, but I have no idea how to do it. :) Maybe you could do a tutorial on that :D

  7. very cool. I am thinking I might do this with a blue jean waist but today is making (teaching) my daughter some skirts from the legs of her cut off blue jean shorts.... Just cause the knees are ripped doesn't mean they are trash...
