Prom!

I'm finally getting prom pictures posted so you can see how my dress turned out. It's almost exactly how I wanted. I ended up leaving the skirt totally down because the petticoat was not so pretty. But other than that, it's pretty much perfect.

With the fishies!! Haha.

I don't know why the top looks twisted in these pictures... it shouldn't normally be like that. In case you were wondering, I did have a fun time, but I decided whoever thought up dancing in heels is a complete moron.

This is a ridiculously short post, but I will be posting my many other projects soon to make up for it. And if you're curious, my Etsy shop is not up yet, but will hopefully be within the week. I've got to take better photos of everything, size it all, price the pieces, and post them. We all know the sort of procrastinator I am, so bear with me!

  1. Addie! I get to fill up your first comment about the prom! I'm glad you had fun. You did a wonderful job on your dress! I just wish you had more pictures! That wine colored dress is a perfect color for you! You look very exotic! I think it is so neat that you made your own prom dress. Wow. If I ever go to prom (ha, never!), you are making my dress, ok? :P I miss you lots!

  2. Hi Addie,
You looked so beautiful in your prom dress. You put my sewing skills to shame. You are very talented! I agree on the heels too. I think whoever invented them is crazy! I'm happy being short!

  3. Aww, thank you both!! Dana, dear, I'll make you any dress you want, anytime. :)

And Aunt Jean, you're terribly sweet to say so, but I still have so much to learn. :) Heh, heels are pointless! Thanks again. ♥

  5. Thank you so much, Gerrie!! It's so awesome to hear that people are reading it. And I was sad to have missed Greenup, too! I wish I could've joined in the planting, even in the snow.
